What are Dissociative Disorders?
Dissociative disorders are psychological conditions in which people experience difficulties with memory and have odd sensations about themselves and the world. People with dissociative disorders can feel like familiar places and people are unfamiliar. They can also feel like a part of their body is foreign or feel as if they are watching themselves. Dissociative disorders are often associated with trauma. They are treated with psychotherapy.
