The VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington, VT serves the primary health care needs of eligible veterans in the Bennington, VT area.

SERVICES:

Services provided and arranged for through the Clinic:

  • Primary care physicians
  • Electrocardiograms (EKG)
  • Laboratory Tests
  • X-rays
  • Preventive services such as annual flu and pneumonia shots
  • Medications
  • Mental Health Services

ADVANTAGES

  • Veterans will have one primary care provider to coordinate care on an ongoing basis.
  • Veterans can receive primary medical care closer to home and don't have to travel to the White River Junction VAMC.
  • Veterans will still be eligible for specialty outpatient care, inpatient care and all other entitlements through the White River Junction VAMC or the Stratton VAMC in Albany, NY.

HOW TO ENROLL
Just complete an application and mail it in to the VAMC (04D), 215 North Main St., White River Junction, VT 05009. Your application will be submitted for enrollment into the program. Veterans may also enroll on the Internet at: https://www.va.gov/sec/vha/1010ez.  

DIRECTIONS
From White River Junction or I 91, take the VT-9 West Exit, Exit #2 towards Brattleboro/Bennington. Turn right onto VT-9 for approximately 39 miles to Bennington. W e are located on RT 7 north of Bennington center at the old Taylor Garage Building. It is a historic building and the words Taylor Garage are written on stained glass in the front of the building.

From Rutland, VT, go South on US-4/US-7; stay straight to go onto US-7 S. US-7 S becomes US-7/VT. Follow US-7 into Bennington. We are located on RT 7 north of Bennington center at the old Taylor Garage Building. It is a historic building and the words Taylor Garage are written on stained glass in the front of the building.
